Ever had a great assist?  You know, one that just opened new doors in your yoga practice?  This is where it begins!   In this workshop you’ll develop your sense of touch to accelerate a deeper understanding of precise alignment, connection, and expression.  We will cover hands-on assists for a variety of common postures and variations. You will come away with skills that will enlighten your own practice as well as your ability to assist others. (Workshop is for experienced practitioners and teachers)

Karl Straub is a Jivamukti Yoga teacher who’s students include professional athletes, cancer patients, celebrities, and yogis of all levels. Yoga helped him conquer chronic back pain after years in a business job, and he was so inspired by the healing power of yoga that he left his steady job and apartment in New York City in 2005 so that he could concentrate more fully on the yogic path.  Karl’s studies in yoga, meditation, and massage include masters from the US, Tibet, India, Thailand, Japan, and beyond.  For the past seven years has been traveling and teaching in yoga studios and festivals around the world.  He has been featured on US national television, international publications including Yoga Journal online, and he conducts retreats annually in Hawaii, Europe, and beyond.  He currently serves as the European Executive Director of the Yoga Studies Institute. www.karlstraub.com
