Jivamukti Yoga offers vigorously physical and intellectually stimulating yoga classes. Classes include Vinyasa (flowing asana sequences), hands-on adjustments, Pranayama (breathing exercises), meditation, Sanskrit chanting, Yogic philosophical teachings and deep relaxation. To keep the practice inspiring, asana sequences are ever-changing. Classes are 60-90 minutes and open to all levels.
The centre also hosts a wide range of workshops, lectures and performances by internationally renowned teachers and artists. Jivamukti Yoga London first opened its doors in July 2005.
This Basics class is offered as a community class- £5 drop-ins or use class packs.
The Basic Class provides the underlying structure to help a student be able to eventually enter into an Open class intelligently and safely. Intermediate and advanced students will also benefit from exploring the alignment essentials presented in these classes. This class is suitable for beginners, but open to all levels of practitioner.
